OVERVIEW:
AiSK's "Artificial Intelligence 101" Training Course provides delegates with a solid, practical foundation in the core principles of AI. This one-day introductory training course is designed for participants across all disciplines who want to develop their knowledge and insights into the evolving world of AI.

TEAM:
KARTIK MITTAL has significant AI experience in industry and academia. As an AI Developer, Canadian Light Source, he supports the development of advanced algorithms for AI interrogation and to drive efficiency in AI processes. He has been an Undergraduate Research Assistant, University of Saskatchewan, and an Undergraduate Researcher, Department of Computer Science, University of Saskatchewan. He is currently completing his Bachelor of Science – Computer Science and is the recipient of the James E. Greer Teaching, Learning, & Technology Undergraduate Research Award and The Terrence and Margaret Downey Scholarship.
ALEX FALLON - As Founder & Interim Executive Director of Artificial Intelligence Saskatchewan Alex has quickly become a leader in the provincial AI ecosystem. He’s overseen the creation and execution of the Saskatchewan Artificial Intelligence Gatherings (SaiG), the AiSK Student Network (AiSK S.N) and has led a series of Saskatchewan AI Industry Roundtables in partnership with Innovation Saskatchewan. He’s the founder of the Canadian AI Art Awards and AiRT ™. In 2025, Alex completed his AI Certificate: Governance, Technology, Ethics & and AI Concepts, FHEQ Level 4, from Oxford University. Alex has a Bachelor of Business & Economics (BSc, Hons, UK) and Bachelor of Laws (Hons, UK). He’s written academic courses including the Mining Industry Business Specialist Diploma (MIBS) - awarded diploma status by the Ministry of Advanced Education. He's become an advocate for the growth of the AI ecosystem in Saskatchewan.
