May 2024 - The Start

AiSK was incorporated as a registered non-profit organization in Saskatchewan

 

June 2024 - Appointments

AiSK first appointments to the AiSK Advisory Board made

 

June 2024 - SaiG

AiSK’s first ever Saskatchewan Artificial Intelligence Gathering (SaiG) takes place sponsored by Innovation Saskatchewan, Discover Saskatoon, and Procido LLP. The event is hosted by 7Shifts and include numerous speakers

 

July 2024 - Board

Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce President & CEO, Prabha Ramaswamy joins the AiSK Advisory Board

 

September 2024 - International

AiSK announced the first ever AiSK SK AI Mission to the AI Summit New York

 

October 2024 - Event 2

AiSK’s second SaiG event (“Adventures in AI”) is held, hosted by Vendasta in Saskatoon.

 

October 2024 - Office

AiSK opens its first office at Innovation Place, Saskatoon

October 2024 - Students

AiSK launches it’s AiSK Student Network

October 2024 - Expo

AiSK announced the launch of the SASK AI EXPO coming April 2026

November 2024 - Google + Art

AiSK presents at its first Google DevFest at the University of Saskatchewan and sells a piece of AI Art live on stage!

December 2024 - Funding Announcement

AiSK enters into a three-year funding agreement with Saskatchewan Polytechnic.

January 2025 - Leadership 1.0

Alex Fallon assumes role of Executive Director, AiSK.

May-September 2025 - Industry Roundtables

AiSK met with industry leaders to discuss how AI is shaping their world and how they think our future with AI should unfold.

November 2025 - First AI Hackathon

The AiSK Student Network created and delivered PROMPT 2 PITCH AI Hackathon inspired by the theme “AI for Everyday Ease”

Alex Fallon selects Kaitlyn Hebert to lead as fractional Executive Director of AiSK
